1. What is Kuda?
Kuda is a fintech app that allows you to send money within the UK, request a Visa card, and make transfers to Nigeria.
2. Is Kuda licensed?
Yes, we’re a Distributor of Modulr FS Limited (FRN 900573), which is an authorised Electronic Money Institution (EMI) regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
3. What fees do you charge?
We charge a service fee of £3 for each transfer to Nigeria.
4. What's the minimum amount of money I can send from my Kuda account?
The minimum amount you can send is £2.
5. How much money can I send to Nigeria?
You can send up to £10,000 to Nigeria daily.
6. How will the beneficiary receive my transfer in Nigeria?
The beneficiary will receive your transfer in a Nigerian domiciliary account or they can pick up cash at selected Nigerian banks.

We make money from service fees charged on international transfers.
9. What do I need to sign up on the Kuda app?
You need a valid government-issued UK ID and proof of UK address to sign up on the app.
10. What kinds of ID and proof of address can I sign up with?

A utility bill (Gas, electricity, oil, home broadband, or water bill for the current billing period)
Landline (telephone) bill (mobile phone bills are not acceptable)
TV, satellite, or cable bill dated within the last three (3) months
Your UK driving license (Add your photo card if you didn't upload it during ID verification)
Bank, building society, credit union, or credit card statement (showing your recent transactions) dated within the last 3 months
Your mortgage statement from a recognised lender (dated within the last 12 months)
Your life assurance or life insurance policy, dated within the last three (3) months but outside of the cancellation period
A local council tax bill for the current billing/fiscal year
HM Revenue & Customs documentation (PAYE Coding Notice/Tax Notification/Self- Assessment/Statement of Account or NI contributions bill valid for the current tax year issued by Job Centre Plus) dated within the last three (3) months. We do not accept P45 or P60 forms
A current tenancy agreement from a local council or a recognised letting agency
A home or motor insurance certificate, valid for the current year but outside of the cancellation period – we cannot accept cover notes
A notification letter from a Benefits Agency/Local Authority confirming your right to benefits (Department for Works and Pensions, Jobcentre Plus, Benefits Agency or Veterans Agency), dated within the last 12 months
Your vehicle registration document (dated within the last 12 months)
11. How do I add money to my Kuda account?
You can add money to your Kuda account from any UK bank account through the bank’s app or internet banking.
12. What should I do if I need help with my Kuda account?

13. Can I create a UK account without a valid UK ID and UK address?
No, you can’t. You need to have a valid UK address and a valid government-issued UK ID.
