What's the lowest amount I can invest?
You can deposit a minimum of $20 in your trading account.
You can withdraw a minimum of $5 from your trading account.
You can buy shares in US stocks at a minimum of $10 at once.
You can sell your shares at a minimum of $5
What's a trading account?
A trading account is an account for trading stocks on your Kuda app. It's different from your Spend account.
How can I trade US stocks with my Kuda Naira account?
We use the exchange rate from our investment service provider to determine the naira equivalent of your stock order. This exchange rate is updated every 60 seconds.
How do I sell my Stocks?
Open Kuda
Select Invest
Select the US Stock you'd like to sell
Select Sell
Enter the amount in dollars or shares you'd like to sell or select Sell All.
Enter your Transaction PIN
You can only sell your US Stocks during working days from 3.30 pm to 10 pm.
Are stocks available to Kuda Business customers?
No, they're not. You need to have a personal Kuda account that's upgraded with your BVN and a valid ID to buy stocks.
Is there an age restriction to buying stocks?
You have to be at least 18 years old to buy stocks.
Is there a specific time for trading stocks?
No, there isn't. You can trade stocks whenever you want.
How do I make money from trading stocks?
When the price of stocks increases, you can sell the stocks to make a profit. You can also make money from dividends paid on stocks. Dividends aren't paid on all stocks but when they're paid, it's usually quarterly.
