How do I add money to my trading account?

You'll add money to your trading account from your Kuda account. The naira equivalent of the amount you're adding in US dollars will be transferred to your trading account.

To add money to your trading account:

1. Open your Kuda app.

2. Tap Investments.

3. Tap US Stocks.

4. Tap Deposit, then follow the prompts on your screen.

How do I withdraw money from my trading account?

1. Open your Kuda app.

2. Tap Investments.

3. Tap US Stocks.

4. Tap Withdraw, then follow the prompts on your screen.

How long will it take for me get the money from the sale of stocks?

Because there's a US trading partner involved in trading transactions, when you sell stocks, it takes two business days for your transaction to be settled. Once it's settled, you can withdraw your Spend account.

What is the difference between available funds and unavailable funds?

  • You can use available funds to buy stocks or withdraw the funds to your Spend account. The funds could be a recent deposit settlement, a recently executed sale or a dividend payment.

  • Unavailable funds mean money from recent sell orders that have not been settled yet. You can re-invest this money immediately.

Can I withdraw from my trading account immediately I sell stocks?

No, you can't. It takes two business days for funds from a sale to be available for withdrawal.

Can I cancel my trade?

Yes, you can cancel a trade that hasn't been completed.
