How to Change Your Email Address on Kuda

Your email is important because it’s how we send updates, alerts, and security notifications. If you need to change it, you can do that directly in the Kuda app in a few simple steps.

Before you start

  • Make sure you have access to the new email address you want to use, as a verification code will be sent there.

  • You’ll also need to be on the latest version of the Kuda app before making this request.

How to update your email

  1. Open the Kuda app and tap Profile

  2. Tap your current email address

  3. Enter your new email address and tap Continue

  4. Check your inbox for the verification code and enter it in the app

  5. Complete the face capture step to confirm your identity

  6. Once verified, your email will be updated within 24 hours, and notifications will be sent to both your old and new email addresses

Important things to know

  • You can only change your email address once every 6 months, so ensure the new email is one you have full access to

  • The new email address must not already be linked to another Kuda account

  • If you have a passkey, you need to revoke it before proceeding. It will be revoked automatically once your new email is approved and updated on your account

  • Notifications will be sent to both your old and new email addresses once the update is complete

  • If you did not make this request, you can cancel it directly in the app. After cancelling, log back in and update your password and transaction PIN immediately to keep your account secure
