Overdraft is based on the information we have about your finances. In most cases, we need a little more information before we can give you an Overdraft. That’s why we may ask you to connect your other bank through Mono, so we can review your recent transactions and confirm your eligibility.
Before you start
You can only link to other banks through Mono. Kuda is not an option.
Have the login details (email/phone and password) for your other bank’s mobile app.
Steps to finish onboarding
Open the Kuda app and tap the Overdraft message or banner.
Select Overdraft
Enter your employment status, monthly earnings, and residential status.
Tap Connect with Mono (or Link bank account).
Select the other bank you want to link.
Enter your login details for that bank and follow the prompts.
Approve any verification steps (for example, OTP or confirmation).
Wait while we check your details.
If you get an offer, tap Accept offer.
Set your consent amount to complete the setup.
If your bank is not listed
Choose the option that says your bank is not on the list and follow the prompts. Mono will try to add the bank later.
